NEWHAM STUDENTS CAFE
VOLUNTEERING
Solutions for Communities UK has operations in Uganda where we provide support to children in school and provide vocational education to youth who dropped out of school. We provide carpentry, brick laying, tailoring, computer education and coaching and mentoring classes.
We work with other local charities in Uganda to deliver our programs.
Newham Students Cafe is a brand new project where we shall be working with students from Colleges and Universities in the London Borough of Newham. We shall be holding weekly cafes for both local and international students from University of East London, Newham University College, Bickbeck University and British Institute of Technology and E-Commerce. We shall discuss ideas and thoughts of how they can help each other to enjoy a good student life and shall help them address challenges that they face.
We are constantly in need of volunteers to help run our projects. We welcome volunteers who are willing to invest their time in our projects and in return we support their expenses like transport and a meal and offer training and support like Enharnced CRB Checks and other help.
We welcome volunteers from both the UK and abroad to come and work with us.
