SOLUTIONS FOR COMMUNITIES
COACHING & MENTORING
We provide Coaching and Mentoring Support to children and Young People to help them become useful citizens. We provide training and support where twice a month we run and hold activities where mentors are brought to speak to our young people and they learn. We also help young people achieve their careers through education and help them get into employment.
INSPIRE THROUGH MUSIC
Inspire through Music is a new group that shall be helping children to learn how to play musical instruments and how to sing. These group is aimed at those parents who cannot afford to pay for their children to attend premium lessons and for those that cannot buy instruments for their children. We provide free lessons for children in and around the London Borough of Newham.
IT Equipment Recycle
Solutions for Communities recycles IT equipment. We recycle computers, laptops, digital cameras, mobile phones, old game consoles, games, office desks/tables, calculators. We re-use these equipment to support those who cannot afford to buy and make it relevant to community groups in East London. We also partner with other charities across Asia and Africa use these IT equipment at no cost.
SIGNPOSTING SERVICES
We provide signposting services where help is offered to different members of the public in need of information or help on how to get different services in the community. We partner with various organisations in and around the London Borough of Newham where references are offered and assistance given to people in need of services. We refere them to places and organisations where help is given.
YOUNG EMPOWERED ACTIVE & HEALTHY (YEAH)
YEAH exists to help young people affected with drugs and addictions overcome the effects of addiction. We hold forums and provide support where help is offered to young people to help them off the streets and off activities that could lead them to committing anti-social behaviors like gun and knife crime and other crimes. We hold weekly activities that help occupy them.
WINTER SOUP CLUB
We run a Soup Club and it's opening this November. Saturday's from 7-9PM at Durning Hall Chapel. Come and taste a variery of soups and bread and chat during the cold winters. Remember it's free of charge and bring along friends.
